- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and tests with accuracy and precision.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Accurately document patient information and test results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate testing protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in nuclear medicine technology.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for quality control and quality assurance.
- Assist in the training and education of new staff members.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory and order necessary supplies.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field
Certification From The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Environment
Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Regulations
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Medical Staff
