  1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  2. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and accurate manner.
  3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and SPECT/CT machines.
  4. Monitor patients and ensure their safety during procedures involving radioactive substances.
  5. Evaluate images for technical quality and accurately interpret results.
  6. Provide compassionate care to patients and maintain a professional and reassuring demeanor at all times.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging procedures for patients.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the protection of patients, staff, and the general public.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
  11. Act as a resource and educator for patients and their families regarding nuclear medicine procedures and results.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of radioactive waste properly.
  13. Communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  14. Demonstrates a commitment to the mission and values of LifeBridge Health and promotes a positive and professional image of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field, Such As Radiologic Technology Or Health Sciences.

  • Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Including Pet/Ct, Spect/Ct, And General Nuclear Medicine Imaging.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Healthcare Environment.
