  1. Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  2. Prepare patients for MRI procedures and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  3. Verify patient information and medical history to ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.
  4. Monitor and assess patient's condition during the procedure and make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal images.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure a smooth and efficient imaging process.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risk for patients, staff, and equipment.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  8. Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in MRI technology and incorporate them into daily practice.
  9. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to accurately interpret and report imaging results.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  11. Participate in continuous education and training programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  12. Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by actively participating in team meetings and providing support to colleagues.
  13. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  14. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery.
  15. Represent the hospital and department in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Mri Technologist Training Program: Candidates For A Mri Tech Job At Lifebridge Health Must Have Completed A Formal Training Program In Mri Technology From An Accredited Institution. This Program Should Cover Topics Such As Anatomy And Physiology, Patient Care, And Mri Procedures.

  • Arrt Certification: Lifebridge Health Requires All Mri Techs To Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt). This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met Certain Education And Training Requirements And Has Passed A National Exam.

  • State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, Candidates Must Also Hold A Valid State License To Perform Mri Procedures. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Knowledgeable About State-Specific Regulations And Laws Related To Mri Technology.

  • Hands-On Experience: Lifebridge Health Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Mri Tech In A Clinical Setting. This Experience Should Include Performing Mri Procedures, Operating And Maintaining Equipment, And Working With Patients.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Mri Tech At Lifebridge Health, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Interacting With Others And Providing High-Quality Patient Care.
