Job Description

We are currently seeking a driven and personable individual to join our team as a Medical Practice Representative with front desk experience. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, and managing patient information in a fast-paced medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a front desk or administrative role, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.   1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment book to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  4. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  6. Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting payments and updating patient records.
  7. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient appointments and medical records.
  8. Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up appointments, and other relevant information.
  9. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and waiting room.
  11. Stay up-to-date on current healthcare policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the medical practice.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, making them feel welcome and valued.
  14. Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
