  1. Perform therapeutic massages on patients to alleviate pain, promote relaxation, and improve overall well-being.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  3. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and how it can support their overall health and wellness.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments and progress.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve massage therapy services.
  7. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  8. Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients to receive massage therapy services.
  9. Promote and market massage therapy services to attract and retain patients.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  12. Comply with all safety and health regulations.
  13. Attend trainings and continuing education courses to maintain licensure and enhance skills.
  14. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Completion Of An Accredited Massage Therapy Program: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Degree Or Certificate From A Recognized Massage Therapy Program, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Various Massage Techniques.

  • State Licensure: A Valid And Current License To Practice Massage Therapy In The State In Which Lifebridge Health Operates Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Necessary Qualifications And Standards Set By The State.

  • Specialized Training In Medical Massage: As Lifebridge Health Is A Healthcare Organization, Candidates With Additional Training And Experience In Medical Massage, Such As Working With Patients Recovering From Injuries Or Surgeries, Will Be Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Massage Therapist At Lifebridge Health, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Provide Quality Care And Build Positive Relationships.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Job Involves Standing For Long Periods And Performing Repetitive Motions, So Candidates Must Have The Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Perform The Required Tasks. Additionally, Good Hand-Eye Coordination Is Important For Performing Massages Accurately And Effectively.
