We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at our Union-Lev location. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Ensure all patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Assist with laundry and linen services as needed.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on safety and cleaning protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Uphold and promote the mission, values, and standards of LifeBridge Health.
- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or management.
High School Diploma Or Ged: A Minimum Of A High School Education Is Typically Required For This Position.
Previous Housekeeping Experience: Prior Experience In A Housekeeping Or Janitorial Role Is Preferred, With Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques And Proper Handling Of Cleaning Chemicals.
Physical Stamina: Housekeeping Aides Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Withstand Long Periods Of Standing, Walking, And Performing Repetitive Tasks.
Attention To Detail: A Strong Eye For Detail Is Essential For Ensuring That All Areas Of The Facility Are Thoroughly Cleaned And Organized.
Teamwork Skills: Housekeeping Aides Must Be Able To Work Well With Others In A Fast-Paced Environment And Be Willing To Take Direction From Supervisors And Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members.
