HOUSEKEEPING AIDE-NON UNION-LEV- AS NEEDED

- Perform daily housekeeping duties according to department policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a healthy environment.
- Set up and clean patient rooms, including changing linens, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high-quality and efficient cleaning.
- Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy policies when handling patient information.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and communicate effectively to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Prior Experience: A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Housekeeping Or Janitorial Services Is Required For This Position. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Proper Cleaning Techniques, Handling Of Cleaning Equipment, And Knowledge Of Safety And Sanitation Protocols.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Including Standing, Walking, Lifting, And Bending. Candidates Should Possess The Physical Stamina To Perform These Tasks For Extended Periods Of Time.
Attention To Detail: A Housekeeping Aide At Lifebridge Health Is Responsible For Maintaining The Cleanliness And Sanitation Of Patient Rooms, Public Areas, And Workspaces. Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring That All Areas Are Thoroughly Cleaned And Sanitized To Maintain A Safe And Healthy Environment For Patients, Staff, And Visitors.
Time Management Skills: The Ability To Manage Time Effectively Is Essential In This Role, As Housekeeping Aides Are Responsible For Completing Their Cleaning Tasks Within A Designated Timeframe. Candidates Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Work Efficiently To Ensure All Areas Are Cleaned In A Timely Manner.
