Hospice Aide

We at LifeBridge Health are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our Hospice Aide team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a genuine desire to provide comfort and care to those in need.The Hospice Aide is responsible for providing quality, patient-centered care to hospice and palliative care patients and their families. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with a diverse team. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities of the Hospice Aide include:

-Provide patient-centered care to hospice and palliative care patients and their families -Educate and support patients and families on end of life medical issues and decisions -Provide emotional support to patients and families -Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding -Monitor patient's condition and report changes to the Health Care Team -Assist with activities of daily living, such as grocery shopping and light housekeeping -Provide respite care for family members -Follow all safety protocols and regulations -Maintain patient confidentiality at all times -Document patient care in accordance with policies and procedures
