  1. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing duties such as cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures for infection control to prevent the spread of illness and promote a healthy environment.
  3. Monitor and restock necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure a continuous and efficient workflow.
  4. Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and prioritize tasks based on the needs of patients and staff.
  5. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing duties, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  6. Communicate effectively with other team members and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  8. Take initiative to identify and address any potential safety hazards or cleanliness issues in the facility.
  9. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new procedures and equipment to improve job performance.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  11. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  12. Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Evs Aide Position At Lifebridge Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Previous Cleaning Or Housekeeping Experience: Having Prior Experience In A Cleaning Or Housekeeping Role Is Preferred For An Evs Aide Position At Lifebridge Health. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Perform The Tasks Required Efficiently And Effectively.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Evs Aides Are Responsible For Maintaining A Clean And Sanitary Environment In Healthcare Facilities. Therefore, Having A Strong Attention To Detail Is Essential To Ensure That All Areas Are Thoroughly Cleaned And Disinfected.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: The Role Of An Evs Aide Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time, Bend, Lift, And Push Heavy Objects. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks.

  • Knowledge Of Infection Control And Safety Protocols: As Evs Aides Work In A Healthcare Setting, It Is Important For Them To Have Knowledge Of Infection Control And Safety Protocols To Prevent The Spread Of Illnesses And Maintain A Safe Work Environment.
