- Develop and implement a comprehensive events and volunteer program that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute various events, including fundraisers, community outreach programs, and volunteer appreciation events.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support event operations and other organizational activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Create and maintain event budgets, timelines, and task lists to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Communicate regularly with volunteers to provide event updates, assign roles and responsibilities, and gather feedback.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals to increase event participation and volunteer engagement.
- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote events and recruit volunteers.
- Ensure all events and volunteer activities comply with legal, safety, and ethical standards.
- Evaluate event success and volunteer satisfaction, and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of events, volunteer hours, and other relevant data.
- Serve as a positive role model for volunteers and uphold the organization's values and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning and volunteer management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.
Familiarity With Volunteer Management And Recruitment, Including Experience In Coordinating And Training Volunteers For Events.
