Job Description

The Endoscopy Technician at LifeBridge Health is a highly specialized role that requires the utmost precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for preparing equipment and supplies for endoscopy procedures, setting up the endoscopy room, and assisting the medical team during endoscopy procedures. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of endoscopy equipment and related procedures. They must also be certified as an Endoscopy Technician or have equivalent experience. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities: • Prepare equipment and supplies for endoscopy procedures. • Set up the endoscopy room. • Assist the medical team during endoscopy procedures. • Maintain a safe and clean environment. • Ensure all patient information is kept private and confidential. • Maintain accurate records of endoscopy procedures. • Follow all safety regulations and protocols. • Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff. • Monitor patient vitals during procedures. • Ensure all necessary medications and supplies are available. • Maintain knowledge of current endoscopy procedures and equipment. • Assist in any additional tasks assigned by the medical team. • Remain up-to-date on all relevant regulations and standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Endoscopy Technician (Cet) Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of Year Of Prior Experience In A Gi Lab Or Endoscopy Setting
