Job Description

We are currently seeking an EMR Onboarding Support Coordinator to join our team and support the implementation of our Electronic Medical Records system. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth transition to our new EMR system for our healthcare providers and staff.   1. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for healthcare providers and staff to ensure a successful implementation of the Electronic Medical Records system.
  2. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for the EMR implementation, including timelines and milestones.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure all necessary resources and materials are available for the EMR onboarding process.
  4. Conduct training sessions and provide support to healthcare providers and staff on how to effectively use the new EMR system.
  5. Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during the EMR onboarding process and provide timely solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation and resources for the EMR system, including user manuals and training materials.
  7. Communicate updates and progress of the EMR implementation to stakeholders, including leadership and staff.
  8. Work closely with the EMR vendor to ensure a smooth integration and address any technical issues.
  9. Monitor and track the progress of the EMR onboarding process and provide regular reports to leadership.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and updates in EMR technology and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, staff, and the EMR vendor to address any concerns or feedback.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the EMR system.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement standard operating procedures for using the EMR system.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of LifeBridge Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Emr Systems, Including Their Functionality And Workflows. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Train And Support New Users During The Onboarding Process.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As An Emr Onboarding Support Coordinator, The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively Is Crucial. This Includes Being Able To Explain Technical Concepts In A Simple And Understandable Manner, As Well As Being Able To Provide Feedback And Guidance To Users.

  • Experience In Training And Support: Previous Experience In Training And Support Roles, Particularly In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Effectively Teach And Guide Others In Using Complex Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: In The Healthcare Industry, Accuracy Is Of Utmost Importance. The Emr Onboarding Support Coordinator Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Data And Information Entered Into The System Is Correct And Complete.

  • Customer Service Orientation: The Emr Onboarding Support Coordinator Will Be Working Closely With Healthcare Professionals, Including Doctors, Nurses, And Administrative Staff. Therefore, A Customer Service-Oriented Attitude Is Necessary To Provide A Positive And Helpful Experience For All Users.
