
ED Critical Care Tech - Grace Medical Center

- Provide critical care support: The primary responsibility of the ED Critical Care Tech will be to assist the medical staff in providing critical care to patients in the emergency department.
- Monitor patient vital signs: The ED Critical Care Tech will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the medical staff.
- Administer medications and treatments: The Tech will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as directed by the medical staff.
- Assist with procedures: The Tech will assist the medical staff with various procedures, such as intubation, catheter insertion, and wound care.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: The Tech will ensure that all critical care equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stocked, and ready for use.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Applicants For The Ed Critical Care Tech Position Must Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Needed To Perform The Duties Of This Role.
Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Certification: Candidates Should Hold A Valid Emt Certification, As This Position Requires Providing Basic Emergency Medical Services And Support In The Ed. This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Handle Critical Care Situations.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: In Addition To An Emt Certification, Candidates Should Also Have An Up-To-Date Bls Certification. This Certification Is A Requirement For All Healthcare Professionals And Ensures The Individual Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques.
Previous Experience In Critical Care Or Emergency Department: It Is Preferred That Candidates Have Previous Experience Working In A Critical Care Or Emergency Department Setting. This Experience Will Give Them A Better Understanding Of The Fast-Paced Environment And The Skills Needed To Excel In This Role.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As An Ed Critical Care Tech At Lifebridge Health, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
