- Perform high-quality echocardiograms using specialized ultrasound equipment.
- Accurately assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions through the interpretation of ultrasound images.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on echocardiogram findings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and answer any questions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of echocardiography.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Assist in training and mentoring new echocardiographers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain licensure and certification.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field
Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through Ardms Or Cci
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Various Cardiac Pathologies
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
