- Provide direct support and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence.
- Conduct intake interviews and assessments to determine the needs of survivors.
- Develop and implement personalized safety plans for survivors.
- Offer emotional support and validation to survivors in crisis.
- Refer survivors to appropriate resources and services, including counseling, legal aid, and housing assistance.
- Advocate for survivors' rights and needs within the legal and social service systems.
- Collaborate with community partners and agencies to coordinate services and resources for survivors.
- Stay updated on current laws, policies, and best practices related to domestic violence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided to survivors.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Raise awareness about domestic violence and promote healthy relationships through community outreach and education.
- Cultivate a safe and non-judgmental environment for survivors to share their experiences.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for survivors.
- Uphold the mission and values of LifeBridge Health and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with survivors.
- Maintain self-care practices to prevent burnout and ensure the ability to provide effective support to survivors.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Victims Of Domestic Violence.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Pertaining To Domestic Violence And Victim Services.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Support And Guidance To Survivors Of Domestic Violence.
Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations And Maintain Confidentiality In All Interactions.
