Job Description

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Division Director for our Pediatric Endocrinology team who will play an integral role in providing exceptional care to our patients. As the Division Director, you will oversee a team of highly skilled physicians and staff, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest quality of care for our young patients.   1. Provide leadership and direction to the Pediatric Endocrinology team, including physicians and staff.
  2. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve the quality of care provided to pediatric patients with endocrine disorders.
  3. Oversee the clinical care provided by the division, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practices are utilized.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as Pediatrics and Nursing, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  5. Serve as a role model and mentor to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of pediatric endocrinology and incorporate this knowledge into practice.
  7. Create and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as community organizations and research institutions.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to pediatric endocrinology practice.
  9. Collaborate with the hospital administration to develop and manage the division's budget.
  10. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  11. Conduct regular evaluations of team members and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  12. Represent the division and LifeBridge Health at conferences, meetings, and other events related to pediatric endocrinology.
  13. Participate in academic activities, such as teaching and research, to further contribute to the field.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to the division's activities and performance.
  15. Serve as a liaison between the division and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree - A Division Director - Pediatric Endocrinology At Lifebridge Health Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is Typically A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do).

  • Board Certification - The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Be Board Certified In Pediatric Endocrinology By The American Board Of Pediatrics (Abp) Or The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim).

  • Extensive Experience - Lifebridge Health Is Looking For A Division Director With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Endocrinology, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Experience Should Include Clinical Practice, Research, And Teaching.

  • Leadership Skills - As A Division Director, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Oversee And Manage A Team Of Physicians, Residents, And Support Staff. This Includes The Ability To Make Strategic Decisions, Motivate And Mentor Team Members, And Effectively Manage Resources.

  • Communication And Collaboration - Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For A Division Director At Lifebridge Health. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals, And Work Collaboratively With Different Departments And Teams Within The Organization.
