DIETARY AIDE-UNION-LEV

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive nutritious and delicious meals, while also providing support to our dietary team. 1. Assisting in the preparation and serving of nutritious and appetizing meals for patients, following specific dietary guidelines and restrictions.
2. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas, and restocking supplies.
3. Collaborating with the dietary team to ensure timely delivery of meals and snacks to patients, as well as addressing any patient dietary concerns or requests.
4. Maintaining accurate records of patient meal orders and special diets, and ensuring all dietary guidelines and restrictions are followed.
5. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
6. Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, answering any questions and addressing any concerns regarding meal options and dietary needs.
7. Adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, and following proper hand-washing procedures.
8. Assisting with the training and supervision of new dietary aides, ensuring they are knowledgeable of all policies and procedures.
9. Collaborating with other departments, such as nursing and food services, to ensure efficient and effective communication and teamwork.
10. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, and demonstrating a commitment to the organization's mission and values.
