
Critical Care Supply Technician

- Maintain inventory levels of critical care supplies and equipment.
- Monitor expiration dates and rotate supplies accordingly.
- Restock and replenish critical care units with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to identify supply needs.
- Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored.
- Utilize computer systems to track inventory and order supplies.
- Conduct regular audits of supplies to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposal of expired or damaged supplies.
- Train new staff on supply management policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized supply storage area.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports related to supply usage.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to supply management.
- Remain up-to-date on industry and hospital policies and procedures regarding supply management.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Handle emergency supply requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Role Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Required For The Job.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred For This Position. This Experience Will Provide A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Understanding Of Critical Care Supplies And Equipment.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Inventory Management: A Critical Care Supply Technician Must Have A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Inventory Management Principles. This Will Enable Them To Accurately Identify And Track Supplies And Equipment, Ensuring Proper Stock Levels Are Maintained.
Attention To Detail And Strong Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Attention To Detail And Strong Organizational Skills As Critical Care Supplies Must Be Accurately Tracked And Managed To Ensure Availability When Needed. Any Mistakes Or Errors Could Have Serious Consequences For Patient Care.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: Critical Care Units Can Be Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environments. Therefore, A Critical Care Supply Technician Must Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And In A Fast-Paced Environment While Maintaining Accuracy And Efficiency.
