Job Description

Are you an experienced CNA/EMT-ED Critical Care Tech looking for an exciting opportunity at a leading healthcare provider? LifeBridge Health is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and excellent customer service. We are dedicated to providing the best care possible to our patients, and we are seeking an experienced critical care technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care and emergency services, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The Critical Care Tech will provide care to critically ill patients in the emergency department (ED) setting. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:• High school diploma or GED• Current certification as a CNA/EMT-ED• At least one year of experience in a critical care setting• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and colleagues• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to maintain a professional attitude in stressful situations• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide care to critically ill patients in the emergency department (ED) setting.
  2. Administer basic medical treatments and therapies in accordance with physician orders.
  3. Monitor vital signs and provide patient assessments.
  4. Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatments.
  6. Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
  7. Provide education and support to patients and family members.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the patient care area.
  10. Follow organizational policies and procedures.
