Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cafe Associate to join our team at our Union location. As a Cafe Associate, you will play a vital role in providing a positive dining experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the cafe in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  3. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and recipes.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring all tables and chairs are sanitized after each use.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
  6. Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
  7. Assist in menu planning and suggest new menu items based on customer feedback.
  8. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy dining experience.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
  11. Train and mentor new cafe staff members.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and promote a team-oriented work environment.
  13. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and any changes in menu items.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Customer Service Skills: A Cafe Associate-Union Should Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Interact With The General Public, Patients, And Staff In A Friendly And Professional Manner.

  • Food Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Food Service Role Is Required For This Position. A Cafe Associate-Union Should Have Knowledge Of Food Preparation, Portion Control, And Food Safety Guidelines.

  • Cash Handling: As A Cafe Associate-Union, One Should Be Comfortable Handling Cash, Processing Transactions, And Providing Accurate Change To Customers. Attention To Detail And Basic Math Skills Are Necessary For This Task.

  • Teamwork: Lifebridge Health Values Collaboration And Teamwork, And A Cafe Associate-Union Should Be Able To Work Well With Others. This Role May Require Working Closely With Other Team Members, Including Baristas, Cooks, And Supervisors, To Ensure Smooth Operations.
