  6. Manage Anesthesia Equipment: Anesthesiologists are responsible for managing and maintaining all anesthesia equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order for patient use.
  7. Provide Post-Anesthesia Care: Anesthesiologists are responsible for monitoring patients during their recovery from anesthesia and managing any post-anesthesia side effects or complications.
  8. Maintain Accurate Records: Anesthesiologists must keep detailed records of anesthesia administration and patient responses to ensure accurate and thorough documentation.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School Is Required To Become An Anesthesiologist.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Anesthesiology (Aba) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Anesthesiology (Aoba) To Practice As An Anesthesiologist At Lifebridge Health.

  • State Licensure: An Active And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Where Lifebridge Health Is Located Is Required To Practice As An Anesthesiologist. Applicants Must Also Maintain A Current Controlled Substance Registration (Csr) And Drug Enforcement Agency (Dea) Registration.

  • Residency Training: Completion Of A 4-Year Anesthesiology Residency Program Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme) Or The American Osteopathic Association (Aoa) Is Required To Become An Anesthesiologist.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: Anesthesiologists At Lifebridge Health Must Possess Current Acls Certification, Which Is Necessary To Respond To Emergency Situations In The Operating Room Or Other Clinical Settings.
