State Licensure: An Active And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Where Lifebridge Health Is Located Is Required To Practice As An Anesthesiologist. Applicants Must Also Maintain A Current Controlled Substance Registration (Csr) And Drug Enforcement Agency (Dea) Registration.
Residency Training: Completion Of A 4-Year Anesthesiology Residency Program Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme) Or The American Osteopathic Association (Aoa) Is Required To Become An Anesthesiologist.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: Anesthesiologists At Lifebridge Health Must Possess Current Acls Certification, Which Is Necessary To Respond To Emergency Situations In The Operating Room Or Other Clinical Settings.
