We are currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in our Cardiac Critical Care department. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions who require intensive care.   1. Provide specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions who require intensive care.
  2. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical exams to identify patient needs.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  5. Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
  6. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
  8. Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care as needed.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  10. Stay updated on current research and advancements in cardiac care.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of protocols and guidelines.
  13. Serve as a resource for other healthcare team members and provide mentorship to new staff.
  14. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities.
  15. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies Is Typically Required For An Advanced Practice Provider (App) Position In Cardiac Critical Care. This Level Of Education Ensures A Strong Foundation In Clinical Knowledge And Prepares Apps For The Complex And Specialized Care Required In This Field.

  • Board Certification: Apps In Cardiac Critical Care Are Expected To Be Board Certified In Their Respective Specialties. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Competency And Expertise In Their Field, And Ensures That The App Is Up-To-Date On The Latest Advancements And Best Practices In Cardiac Critical Care.

  • Prior Experience In Critical Care: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting Is Typically Preferred For An App Position In Cardiac Critical Care. This Experience Provides A Strong Foundation In Managing Critically Ill Patients And Handling Complex Medical Situations, Which Are Essential Skills For A Cardiac Critical Care App.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: In Addition To General Critical Care Experience, Cardiac Critical Care Apps Should Also Possess Acls Certification. This Certification Demonstrates Proficiency In Managing Cardiac Emergencies And Is Required For Providing Advanced Cardiac Life Support In Critical Care Settings.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For An App In Cardiac Critical Care. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, And Collaborate With The Team To Provide The Best Possible Care For Critically Ill Cardiac Patients.
