We are seeking an experienced and compassionate MDS Nurse to join our team at Life Care Centers of America. The MDS Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and completing comprehensive assessments of all residents according to established regulations and guidelines. This position requires a person who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excels in providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as well as experience in long-term care or in a skilled nursing facility.Our MDS Nurse should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with all members of the care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of professional performance in terms of providing quality care and customer service, and should be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete comprehensive assessments of all residents according to established regulations and guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all members of the care team.
- Provide quality care and customer service in accordance with the highest standards of professional performance.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and document accordingly.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing patient care.
- Remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices in MDS nursing.
- Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
