  1. Design and implement efficient and scalable DevOps processes to support software development and deployment.
  2. Maintain and improve existing DevOps tools and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, including performance, security, and scalability.
  5. Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality and adherence to DevOps best practices.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in DevOps technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
  7. Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  8. Lead and mentor junior DevOps team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and identify any potential roadblocks.
  10. Proactively identify and implement solutions to enhance the overall software development lifecycle and increase efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Devops Tools: A Sr. Devops Engineer At Lexmark International Should Possess A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With A Wide Range Of Devops Tools, Including But Not Limited To Ci/Cd Pipelines, Configuration Management Tools, Containerization Platforms, And Monitoring And Logging Tools.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Coding: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Scripting And Coding, With Expertise In At Least One Programming Language. They Should Also Be Comfortable With Automation And Have Experience Writing Scripts To Streamline Processes And Tasks.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing: Lexmark International Is A Technology-Driven Company, And A Sr. Devops Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cloud Computing Principles And Experience Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.

  • Proven Experience With Infrastructure Management: The Sr. Devops Engineer Will Be Responsible For Managing And Maintaining The Company's Infrastructure. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Network And Server Architecture, Storage Systems, And Virtualization Technologies.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Devops Team, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Lead And Mentor Junior Team Members, Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
