Job Description

Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supervisor for our Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Work team. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to our team of social workers who work closely with patients and their families during their stay at our inpatient behavioral health facilities.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Work team.
  2. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to social workers to ensure they are providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of social workers, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  6. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in the field of behavioral health and incorporate them into the team's practices.
  7. Act as a liaison between the Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Work team and other departments within the organization.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  9. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new social workers.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.
  11. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and uphold the values and mission of Legacy Health.
  12. Handle any escalated patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Prepare and present reports on team performance, patient outcomes, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
  14. Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance resources and support for patients and their families.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of services provided by the Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Work team.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work (Msw) From An Accredited Program With A Concentration In Behavioral Health.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Social Work Role, Preferably In An Inpatient Or Acute Care Setting.

  • Current Licensure As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) In The State Of Oregon.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Supervise A Team Of Social Workers And Other Support Staff.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities In The Field Of Behavioral Health, Including Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, And Co-Occurring Disorders.
