
Supervisor, Housekeeping
Legacy Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor of Housekeeping to join our team and oversee the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. - Oversee the overall cleanliness and organization of all facilities within Legacy Health.
- Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other department managers to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure high quality standards are met.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or complaints.
- Train and educate staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement new strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of housekeeping operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for housekeeping staff.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any concerns.
- Create and maintain accurate records and reports related to housekeeping operations.
- Assist with budget planning and management for housekeeping department.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
Previous Supervisory Experience: A Qualified Supervisor, Housekeeping Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Ensure That All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And To A High Standard.
Strong Communication Skills: Supervisors In The Housekeeping Department At Legacy Health Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Their Team, As Well As Other Departments And Management. They Should Be Able To Give Clear Instructions, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise.
Knowledge Of Housekeeping Procedures And Standards: A Successful Supervisor, Housekeeping Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Housekeeping Procedures And Industry Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques, Equipment Usage, And Safety Protocols. This Will Ensure That The Housekeeping Team Follows The Proper Procedures And Maintains A Clean And Safe Environment For Patients And Staff.
Attention To Detail: Housekeeping Is A Critical Aspect Of Maintaining A Safe And Sanitary Healthcare Facility. A Qualified Supervisor, Housekeeping Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Potential Cleanliness Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Conduct Thorough Inspections And Enforce High Standards To Ensure A Clean And Healthy Environment For All.
