- Conduct ultrasound exams and procedures on patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
- Review patient medical history and communicate with healthcare team to ensure accurate and complete exams.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or potential medical conditions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient information.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Continuously educate oneself on new developments and advancements in ultrasound technology and procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service by addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of ultrasound exams.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Act as an ambassador for Legacy Health and represent the organization positively in all interactions.
Completion Of A Caahep Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Medical Imaging Setting.
Proficiency In A Variety Of Sonographic Procedures, Including Abdominal, Obstetrics/Gynecology, And Vascular.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Professionals Effectively.
