RN Staff Nurse - PACU

1. Provide exceptional care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) following surgery.
2. Utilize expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices to promote positive patient outcomes.
3. Monitor and assess patients' post-operative recovery, including vital signs, pain management, and potential complications.
4. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards, to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
9. Serve as a patient advocate, addressing concerns and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
10. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
11. Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced nursing staff.
12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while providing care to patients and their families.
