  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  3. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and maintaining patient comfort.
  4. Review and evaluate imaging results for quality and accuracy, communicating any concerns to the appropriate medical team members.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most effective imaging techniques for specific medical conditions.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess patient condition during imaging procedures, taking appropriate action in case of emergencies.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  9. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are stocked and readily available.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on new technology and advancements in the field of radiology.
  11. Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns they may have.
  12. Act as a resource and mentor to less experienced Rad Techs, providing guidance and support as needed.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to radiology and patient care.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, representing Legacy Health in a positive manner at all times.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through quality care and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology

  • Current Arrt Certification And State Licensure

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Procedures And Equipment, Including Digital Imaging Technology

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment
