Job Description

At Legacy Health, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our Outpatient team. In this role, the Physical Therapy Aide will provide skilled therapeutic services to patients under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. Our ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and patient-centered.The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CPR certification. An Associate's degree in physical therapy, a current state Physical Therapy Aide license, and BLS certification is highly preferred. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team, able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, and able to maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide skilled therapeutic services to patients under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  2. Maintain high standards of patient care.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and policies.
  6. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Assist in the preparation of equipment and materials for treatments.
  8. Assist with patient transfers, as needed.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Physical Therapist.

Compensation
