  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure proper storage of medications
  • Perform medication reconciliation and review for accuracy and potential drug interactions
  • Prepare and package medications for distribution to patients
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication information and instructions
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations and medication management to provide the best possible care to patients
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Possess A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Educational Requirement Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Academic Proficiency And The Ability To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Certification Or License: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Be Certified Or Licensed In The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Individual Has Completed An Accredited Training Program And Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Perform The Duties Of A Pharmacy Technician.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Other Staff Members. This Includes The Ability To Listen Actively, Ask Questions, And Provide Accurate Information.

  • Attention To Detail: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Read And Interpret Prescriptions, Dispense Medications, And Maintain Inventory Records. This Skill Is Crucial In Ensuring The Safety And Accuracy Of Medication Orders.

  • Customer Service Skills: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills To Interact With Patients And Their Families In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
