High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Technician At Legacy Health Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Ensure Basic Understanding Of Mathematics, Science, And Communication Skills.
Certification Or License: A Pharmacy Technician Must Be Certified Or Licensed According To State Regulations. Legacy Health May Require Additional Certification Such As The Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
Previous Experience: Legacy Health May Require Previous Experience In A Pharmacy Setting, Whether It Be In A Hospital, Retail, Or Long-Term Care Environment. This Experience Can Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Terminology, Drug Interactions, And Basic Pharmacy Procedures.
Attention To Detail: As Pharmacy Technicians Are Responsible For Accurately Filling Prescriptions And Maintaining Inventory, They Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of Patients.
Team Player: Pharmacy Technicians At Legacy Health Must Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team Environment. This Includes Communicating With Pharmacists, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Collaborating With Other Pharmacy Technicians To Ensure Efficient Operations.
