- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication dosages and interactions.
- Maintain inventory and stock levels of medications, ensuring adequate supply for patient needs.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the pharmacy system.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering any questions and providing medication counseling as needed.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to medication dispensing and patient confidentiality.
- Monitor medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation and labeling of medications.
- Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Continuously update knowledge of new medications, procedures, and regulations in the pharmaceutical field.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure proper coverage and billing for medications.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Pharmacy Tech Outpatient Job At Legacy Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Are Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht): Legacy Health Requires Candidates To Have A Certification As A Pharmacy Technician From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb). This Certification Ensures That Candidates Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Effectively.
