Peer Mentor - Behavioral Health Response Team

Legacy Health is seeking an experienced, compassionate Peer Mentor to join our Behavioral Health Response Team. As a Peer Mentor, you will provide support and guidance to clients, lead therapeutic activities, and help build a safe and supportive environment. The ideal candidate has the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients, build a supportive team environment, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

1. Establish trusting relationships with clients and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
2. Lead therapeutic activities and provide constructive feedback to help clients develop self-awareness and problem-solving skills.
3. Create a safe and supportive environment for clients and encourage teamwork.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
5. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
6. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, as needed.
7. Document client progress, participation in activities, and any other relevant information.
8. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements, when necessary.
9. Stay up to date with best practices in the field and attend trainings and workshops, as needed.
