  1. Safely transport patients throughout the facility, taking into account any medical conditions or needs.
  2. Ensure timely and efficient transport of patients to and from various departments, including surgery, radiology, and the emergency room.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and vehicles used for patient transport.
  4. Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transport needs.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being during transport.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to assist with patient transfers and discharges.
  8. Maintain accurate records of patient transports, including documentation of any issues or concerns.
  9. Attend and participate in all required training and meetings to stay up-to-date on safety and transport protocols.
  10. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required.

  • Cpr Certification And Basic Life Support (Bls) Training.

  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record.

  • Previous Experience In Patient Transport Or Related Healthcare Field Preferred.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Patients Safely, With Proper Body Mechanics And Techniques.
