Patient Dining Assistant

Legacy Health is looking for an enthusiastic Patient Dining Assistant to join our team and make our guests feel at home during their stay with us. This position requires a patient-centric individual with excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:• High School diploma or GED• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role• Ability to interact with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner• Flexible availability and ability to work around the clock• Ability to lift up to 40lbs• Food Handler’s certification (preferred)

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome patients and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Ensure that all dining requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Assist in maintaining the dining area in a clean and orderly condition.
4. Assist with the preparation of food as needed.
5. Stock kitchen and dining areas with supplies.
6. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations.
7. Assist in training new staff members.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
9. Manage customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
10. Maintain accurate records of patient dining requests.
11. Work with other team members to ensure that patient dining needs are met.
12. Maintain patient confidentiality.
13. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
14. Ensure that food is served at the correct temperature and in accordance with health regulations.
15. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all patients are treated with respect and dignity.
