  1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Register patients, collect necessary information and verify insurance coverage.
  3. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  4. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and their families.
  5. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  6. Verify insurance benefits and coverage to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.
  8. Monitor and update patient accounts, including collecting payments and processing insurance claims.
  9. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in accurately entering and maintaining patient information.
  10. Display compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, especially during difficult or emotional situations.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
