  1. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  2. Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises with patients to improve their physical and cognitive abilities.
  3. Document and maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes and treatment outcomes.
  4. Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding treatment plans and goals.
  5. Assist in evaluating patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients.
  7. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of patient care.
  8. Attend regular team meetings and participate in case discussions to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  9. Keep up-to-date with current best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
  10. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience in working with patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.
  13. Advocate for patients' needs and facilitate their access to resources and support services.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution

  • Current Certification As An Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) By The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cota In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Current Best Practices And Evidence-Based Interventions In Occupational Therapy

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Team Members.
