Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Home Health

As an Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Home Health, you will provide individualized intervention strategies to help children with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges achieve their goals. You should have a passion for working with children, their families, and other healthcare providers to support the highest quality of care.To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed with the Oregon Board of Occupational Therapy, and have at least three years of pediatric home health experience. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of occupational therapy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to help children with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges achieve their goals. • Provide quality care to pediatric home health patients and their families. • Maintain accurate client records and document progress. • Participate in patient assessments and evaluations as needed. • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the highest quality of care. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient. • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. • Educate families and other healthcare providers on the principles and practices of occupational therapy. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and professional development opportunities. • Adhere to all applicable regulations and standards of practice.
