
Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Home Health
Legacy Health is excited to invite dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Home Health professionals to join our team and help make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. As an Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Home Health, you will provide individualized intervention strategies to help children with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges achieve their goals. You should have a passion for working with children, their families, and other healthcare providers to support the highest quality of care.To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, be licensed with the Oregon Board of Occupational Therapy, and have at least three years of pediatric home health experience. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of occupational therapy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to help children with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges achieve their goals. • Provide quality care to pediatric home health patients and their families. • Maintain accurate client records and document progress. • Participate in patient assessments and evaluations as needed. • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the highest quality of care. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient. • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. • Educate families and other healthcare providers on the principles and practices of occupational therapy. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and professional development opportunities. • Adhere to all applicable regulations and standards of practice.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy
Current License To Practice Occupational Therapy In The State Of Oregon
At Least Year Of Experience In Pediatric Home Health
Thorough Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Practice Standards
Ability To Collaborate And Coordinate With Other Healthcare Professionals
Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Patient Care
