Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

The ideal candidate will be a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for working with patients to improve their physical, emotional, and mental health. They should be an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university• Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license• Experience in an acute care setting• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards

Responsibilities:

1. Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
2. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
3. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients that focus on improving physical, emotional, and mental health.
4. Build strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
5. Provide patient and family education.
6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
8. Adhere to applicable regulations and standards.
9. Participate in professional development opportunities.
