Legacy Health is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Medical Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of laboratory tests that are used to diagnose and treat diseases. The ideal candidate for this position will have a laboratory science degree, a Medical Technologist certification, and experience in a clinical laboratory setting. You must be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. In addition, you must be able to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of tests in a clinical laboratory setting to diagnose and treat diseases.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Interpret laboratory test results and provide feedback to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure all laboratory procedures are performed according to standard operating procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Work independently and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or A Related Discipline
A Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Lab Experience
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety And Quality Assurance Procedures
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment
Proficiency In Computer Applications
Including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
Ability To Interpret And Follow Written And Verbal Instructions
