  1. Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in the Orthopedics & Sports Medicine department.
  2. Prepare and set up equipment and supplies for procedures.
  3. Take and record vital signs accurately.
  4. Maintain electronic medical records for patients.
  5. Coordinate and communicate with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine specialists.
  6. Provide support and assistance to patients during procedures.
  7. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  8. Educate patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
  9. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in orthopedics and sports medicine.
  13. Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve and optimize patient care.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all job responsibilities.
  15. Continuously demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism towards patients and colleagues.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  17. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Orthopedics Or Sports Medicine Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology Related To Orthopedics And Sports Medicine

  • Ability To Perform Basic Clinical Procedures Such As Taking Vital Signs, Administering Injections, And Assisting With Minor Surgical Procedures

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records Systems And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information.
