- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice.
- Collaborate with the orthopedic and sports medicine specialists to assist in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, patient registration, and maintaining medical records.
- Take accurate and detailed patient histories, including current medications and allergies.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and organized.
- Assist with patient education, including providing instructions for at-home care and answering any questions or concerns.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment used in an orthopedic and sports medicine setting.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credentials
Experience Working In An Orthopedics Or Sports Medicine Setting
Knowledge Of Orthopedic And Sports Medicine Procedures And Terminology
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems
