- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, obtaining medical history and updating patient records.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor medical procedures.
- Administer medication as directed by a licensed healthcare provider.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Use electronic medical records system to accurately document patient care activities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
- Act as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Uphold the values and mission of Legacy Health by providing patient-centered care.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credentials.
Prior Experience In A Cardiology Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Environment.
Knowledge Of Cardiology Procedures And Equipment, Such As Electrocardiograms (Ekgs) And Stress Tests.
Proficiency In Medical Terminology And Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
