In this role, you will oversee a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.   1. Lead and manage a team of professionals in the Patient Business Services department, providing guidance, support, and direction.
  2. Collaborate with various departments, including Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Clinical departments, to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve billing processes and increase efficiency within the department.
  4. Stay updated on hospital billing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  6. Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
  7. Handle escalated patient billing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  9. Continuously improve and streamline workflows to enhance the patient experience and increase revenue.
  10. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
  11. Work closely with revenue cycle leadership to develop and implement department goals and objectives.
  12. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  13. Represent the Patient Business Services department in meetings and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  14. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in hospital billing and implement relevant changes to enhance department operations.
  15. Embody the organization's values and promote a patient-centric culture throughout the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Hospital Billing, Revenue Cycle Management, Or Healthcare Finance.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Third-Party Payer Guidelines.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team.

  • Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems And Billing Software, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools.
