Manager, Inpatient Social Work

Legacy Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Inpatient Social Work to join our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of patient-centered care and patient/family advocacy. This individual will have a strong track record of leading and developing a team of social workers, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Manager of Inpatient Social Work will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work and five years of experience in a medical social work setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system. They must have a valid license to practice social work from the state in which Legacy Health is located, and a solid understanding of relevant regulations. The Manager of Inpatient Social Work must possess strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a compassionate and patient-focused individual with the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner. Lastly, they must be able to comfortably handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
