  1. Oversee and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team members are performing at their best.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
  3. Maintain and update accounts payable records, including vendor information, invoices, and payments.
  4. Monitor and analyze accounts payable data to identify any discrepancies or issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  5. Review and approve all accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any payment or invoice inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and procurement, to streamline processes and improve overall financial operations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  10. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls related to accounts payable.
  11. Manage the accounts payable budget and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  12. Lead and motivate the accounts payable team to meet and exceed performance goals and objectives.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or disputes related to accounts payable.
  15. Work closely with the finance and accounting team to prepare for audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  16. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues related to accounts payable processes.
  17. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the accounts payable team and across departments.
  18. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by upper management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Accounts Payable Or Related Field

  • Strong Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Financial Regulations

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Accounts Payable Processes

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Departments And Vendors.
