  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer in a fast-paced ambulatory/outpatient setting.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  3. Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional well-being, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and document all interventions accurately.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and follow infection control protocols.
  8. Assist with procedures and treatments, such as wound care, dressing changes, and IV therapy.
  9. Act as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  10. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in oncology nursing.
  11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid License To Practice As A Licensed Practical Nurse In The State Of Oregon.

  • Previous Experience In Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Ambulatory Or Outpatient Setting, Preferably In A Surgical Or Oncology Department.

  • Knowledge Of Breast Surgical Oncology: The Lpn Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Breast Surgical Oncology Procedures, Treatments, And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Working In A Clinic Setting Requires Effective Communication With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Lpn Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Independently: The Lpn Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Efficiently And Work Independently In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively.
