Laboratory - Supervisor

We are searching for an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Legacy Health. Reporting to the Lab Manager, this position will be responsible for leading a team of laboratory professionals in order to provide accurate and timely laboratory services. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or related field • Five or more years of laboratory experience• Three or more years of supervisory experience• Proficient understanding of laboratory policies and procedures • Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care, have a proven track record of success in a laboratory setting, and the qualifications listed above, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory • Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory personnel • Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed • Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures • Monitor quality control to ensure accuracy of results • Train and develop laboratory personnel • Maintain accurate laboratory records • Liaise with other health professionals as necessary • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards • Manage laboratory budgets and resources
