  1. Develop and implement effective labor relations strategies to support the organization and its employees.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert on labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
  3. Handle all aspects of collective bargaining negotiations, including preparing proposals, conducting research, and communicating with union representatives.
  4. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  5. Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring a fair and equitable resolution.
  6. Collaborate with HR, legal, and other departments to develop and maintain policies and procedures related to labor relations.
  7. Analyze labor market trends and make recommendations for competitive and fair compensation and benefits packages.
  8. Build and maintain positive relationships with union leaders and representatives to promote a collaborative and productive working environment.
  9. Develop training programs and materials to educate employees and managers on labor relations policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor and track labor relations metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance employee relations and engagement.
  11. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and proactively communicate any potential impacts to the organization.
  12. Represent the organization in external labor relations meetings, hearings, and other related events.
  13. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to labor relations as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Labor Relations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Thorough Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws, Regulations, And Collective Bargaining Agreements.

  • Strong Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With Employees, Unions, And Management.
